By engaging our services, requesting a quote, or placing an order with Woodcraft Design Company, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Custom Work Acknowledgment
All cabinetry, furniture, and woodworking projects produced by Woodcraft Design Company are custom-made to order. Due to the personalized nature of our work:
- All sales are final once production has begun
- Custom items are non-refundable and non-returnable
- Natural variations in wood grain, color, knots, and texture are inherent and not considered defects
These characteristics are part of the beauty and uniqueness of handcrafted wood products.
2. Estimates & Pricing
- Estimates are based on information available at the time of quoting
- Final pricing may change if project scope, materials, or design details are modified
- Any changes requested after estimate approval may result in additional charges and extended timelines
- Prices are subject to change due to material cost fluctuations or availability
All pricing and changes will be communicated and approved before proceeding.
3. Deposits & Payments
- A deposit may be required before work begins
- Remaining balances are due according to the payment schedule outlined in your agreement
- Failure to make payments on time may result in project delays or suspension
Deposits are non-refundable once materials are ordered or work has begun.
4. Design Approval
Client approval of drawings, renderings, measurements, and specifications is required before production begins. Once approved:
- The client assumes responsibility for accuracy
- Changes after approval may incur additional costs
- Woodcraft Design Company is not responsible for errors approved by the client
5. Project Timelines
Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Timelines may be affected by:
- Material availability
- Design changes
- Site readiness
- Weather, shipping delays, or unforeseen circumstances
We will communicate any delays promptly and work to complete your project as efficiently as possible.
6. Installation & Site Conditions
The client is responsible for ensuring that the installation site is:
- Accessible and safe
- Properly prepared (plumb, level, finished floors where required)
- Free of obstructions
Delays or additional labor caused by site conditions may result in added charges.
7. Care & Maintenance
Wood is a natural material that responds to environmental conditions. Woodcraft Design Company is not responsible for:
- Damage caused by moisture, heat, or improper care
- Normal wear and tear over time
- Movement, cracking, or color changes due to humidity or sunlight
Care instructions will be provided upon request.
8. Warranty & Craftsmanship
We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. Any workmanship concerns must be reported within 30 days of installation. This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wood movement
- Improper use or maintenance
- Damage caused by third parties
9. Cancellations
Orders may only be canceled before materials are ordered or work has begun. Any costs incurred prior to cancellation will be the responsibility of the client.
10. Limitation of Liability
Woodcraft Design Company shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.
11. Intellectual Property
All designs, drawings, plans, and images created by Woodcraft Design Company remain our intellectual property and may not be reproduced or shared without written permission.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Washington.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order or proceeding with a project, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
